What We Do

It's now well established that too many children's diets don't meet the Government's dietary recommendations, being too high in fat, sugar and salt, and too low in fruit, vegetables and starchy carbohydrates. A poorly balanced diet and inactive lifestyle are contributing factors in the rapid rise in childhood obesity rates to what are described as epidemic proportions.

Conversely, it's also known that eating a healthy balanced diet not only provides the nutrients children need but has a positive effect on their concentration and performance throughout the day.

Energy Bar Flapjacks
Our exceptional flapjacks are made from a base of the finest, non-genetically modified oats in the world. Oats are nature's natural food and we include the entire natural oat bran and oat germ. Nothing is added, nothing is taken away. The process is carefully designed to conserve the natural quality whilst the milling process conserves the natural goodness. Oats have a low GI index and can complement any diet.
Our oats are grown by local farmers in England, Scotland and Wales.

How it works

Energy Bar is easy to use and manage – in fact, we've designed it so that children can run Energy Bar themselves, like those at our first partner school at Blackburn with Darwen, Lancashire .

The process is simple. When you sign up with Energy Bar there's nothing to pay up front - we deliver the unit, train staff and provide stock for the first month.
The first payment comes one month after delivery and stock is ordered in arrears, giving your school time to establish income. We also supply supporting material to help children to set up and run a profitable Energy Bar.

Day to day ordering, refilling and cleaning is quick and easy. We spend time upfront with children and catering staff explaining the benefits of Energy Bar and showing them how it works.
